  • Evaluate your pantry (throw out the junk!)

  • Redo your favorite recipes to make them healthier.

  • Eat larger amounts of food earlier in the day.

  • Keep food and exercise records daily.

  • Shop smart; use a list and stick to healthy necessities!

  • Learn to read food labels to choose foods wisely.

  • Work out because it’s fun! Do what you like to do!

  • Drink plenty of water throughout the day and before meals.

  • Don’t keep high fat foods around if you can’t resist them.

  • Eat before you go out to eat. (Snack lightly to keep you from over-eating.)

  • Beware of the high fat salad. (Croutons and dressings add calories and fat).

  • Reward yourself with non-food luxuries.
  • Take diet changes one step at a time. It took you a long time to develop the diet habits that you have now. Making changes might take a while, so give yourself a break!
    Check with your doctor before starting any diet or exercise plan.
    Don’t deny yourself of any food, moderation, moderation, moderation!

    Pay attention to what your own body is telling you. What do you really want to eat? Ask yourself if you’re really hungry or if there’s something else that can fill you up (what’s eating you?)

    Don't beat yourself up over one "diet mistake," or worse, sabatoge your plan. Just start all over again. Tomorrow is a new day and new chance for you to be the best that you can be!
    Do it for yourself...you can do it...YOU CAN DO IT!!
